The Veolia Mulwaree Trust was established to manage and distribute funds to benefit communities within or surrounding the former Mulwaree Shire Council area in Southern NSW. The Trust’s funding is provided by Veolia Australia and New Zealand which operates the Woodlawn Eco-Precinct near Tarago in Southern NSW. The Trust is offering one scholarship to a rural stream student undertaking a clinical placement in the Goulburn Mulwaree region in 2022. The aim of the scholarship, valued at $3,000, is to assist the student with living expenses during the rural stream year.
Each year the ANU Medical School may offer an award known as the National Indigenous Scholarship for Medicine with the aim of assisting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students to undertake the Medicinae ac Chirurgiae Doctoranda (MChD) program at the ANU Medical School.
Benefits
The duration of the award is up to 4 years. The award is paid in two instalments at the beginning of each semester unless otherwise stated in the letter of offer
The Goulburn Branch of the NSW Farmers Association sponsors the $500 award. The aim of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to the student during the rural stream year.
