Infectious Disease

Our research covers a diverse range of topics, from seeking to understand the basic biology of pathogens to the design of public health approaches to control the diseases the cause.

Areas of particular interest include screening and treatment programs for sexually transmitted infections; innovative treatment of head lice in schools; the development of mathematical models of infectious disease transmission; and the emergence of antibiotic resistance in human pathogens.
