Immunology

Our research effort focuses on understanding the genetic and cellular basis of sarcoidosis, vasculitis, and other forms of autoimmune disease. We participate in a number of clinical trials for new therapies, particularly investigating biological therapies for lupus and systemic vasculitis.

Together with the Centre for personalised Immunology we aim to understand causes of genetic variations in patients in order to deliver treatment strategies targeted to the individual.
