Global virtual hospital start-up tackles COVID remotely

Start-up Global Medics Australia is seeking to raise up to $5 million as its Indian co-founders aim to help remote COVID-19 patients and chronically-ill people get access to doctors’ consultations around the world.

Victoria’s surging COVID-19 numbers have sparked the idea of a “global virtual hospital” to address the need for remote patient monitoring by exploiting the growth in digital healthcare.
