The Canberra Clinical School campus is our metropolitan based clinical teaching unit. We pride ourselves on our teaching program which has a strong foundation of basic and clinical sciences, and the depth and breadth of the student experience during Years 3 and 4 of the MChD (Doctor of Medicine & Surgery) program.
Calvary Hospital is a fully accredited 250 bed public hospital located in the suburb of Bruce in north Canberra.

Growing evidence suggests increased prevalence of sleep disturbances in patients with eating disorders and increased risk of eating disorders in patients with sleep disturbances. This bidirectional relationship suggests a common pathophysiological pathway underpinning both behaviours. In this co-design project, we hypothesise that tryptophan deficiency underpins the bi-directional relationship between anorexia nervosa and sleep disturbances and that it may be an avenue of focus for therapeutic interventions.
