The ANU Medical School offers medical students the opportunity to study Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health, through lectures, research project opportunities and cultural activities within their 4 year medical program. The Medical School recognises the issues surrounding the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with a focus on increasing the number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to study medicine as well as offering the Indigenous Health Stream to all medical students.
