Whiplash Research: participants wanted

The cause of neck pain after whiplash is not well understood. In this study, we are examining MRI scans of people with and without whiplash to find out more about what structures are injured.

Who are we looking for?

  • People aged over 40 years with: Neck pain after a car accident:
  • People aged over 18 years with: Neck pain who have not had a car accident.

As a volunteer, what do I have to do?

If you are eligible to participate you will be asked to: 

  1. Attend a 60 minute appointment at The Canberra Hospital including clinical measurements and answering some questionnaires. 
  2. Attend a 30 minute appointment for an MRI scan of your head and neck.
