Benchmarking and performance variation among hospitals
There is an expectation among the public and within the medical profession that the performance and outcome of any hospital should be comparable between hospitals with a similar setting. However, there are challenges in meeting this expectation. Professor Abdel-Latif Mohamed will discuss these challenges and propose a strategy to examine variations between hospitals in this webinar.

Professor Abdel-Latif Mohamed is a senior neonatologist at Canberra Health Services. He is a Professor of Neonatal Medicine at the Australian National University and Adjunct Professor of Public Health at La Trobe University, Melbourne.
