To be sun exposed or not to be - that is the question

Sun exposure linked to immune response
We all know the sun can cause skin cancer, but did you know it might also influence our bodies’ ability to fight off infection? Dr Ashwin Swaminathan and Dr Robyn Lucas of the ANU Medical School and National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health conducted a pilot study in 2009 into the relationship between sun exposure and our immune systems.
