Biography

Klaus-Martin Schulte is an Academic General Surgeon with specific expertise in Endocrine Surgery and Major Trauma Surgery. Following medical studies in Germany, Paris, at Baylor College Houston, and Harvard Medical School KMS trained with Professor Weil at CHU Henri Mondor, Paris, Professor Betzler in Essen and Professores HD Roeher and WT Knoefel in Duesseldorf (Germany) to become a consultant general surgeon in 2000. He has been lead clinician for endocrine surgery (since 2004) and emergency general and major trauma surgery (2006-2012) at King’s College Hospital. In 2014 he joined ANU as Chair of Surgery and The Canberra Hospital as Visiting Medical Officer.
