Biography

Christian Stricker studied medicine in Zürich, Switzerland. Afterwards he was a doctoral student at the Institute of Physiology, Bern, Switzerland, where he received his MD in 1991. He received a fellowship from the Swiss National Science Foundation to commence a post-doc in Professor Steve Redman's lab in Canberra, where he stayed until 1997. He was group leader of the Swiss Junior Group at the Institute of Neuroinformatics in Zürich from 1997 - 2003, when he was appointed as Associate Professor in Systems Physiology at the ANU Medical School. His laboratories are at the John Curtin School of Medical Research.
