You are invited to a morning tea to celebrate and acknowledge NAIDOC Week: ‘Because of her, we can!’

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women have played and continue to play a significant role in all our communities. They are our: elders, grandmothers, mothers, aunties, sisters and daughters.

They are the trailblazers in our communities who have led the way to inspire to stand up be counted and strive to be better, to give more back to our people  – doctors, nurses, teachers, academics, or writers. While at the same time demanding of us to stand and campaign for justice and equality.

Because of her we can is a fitting tribute to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women across our land.

Please come along and enjoy and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, history, culture and stories, and join in the discussion.
