The ANU Rural Medical Society's Close the Gap Conference brings together health students, health professionals and community members from across the ACT and NSW to hear from leaders in Indigenous health.
The free open seminar on Saturday 21 March will run from 10am to 3pm. It will feature a unique performance by traditional dancers, a free barbecue lunch and five inspiring guest speakers providing fresh and positive insights into what is being done, and what needs to be done further, to improve Indigenous health outcomes.
Students studying health related disciplines are invited to register as health student delegates, which includes participation in three interactive workshops exploring Indigenous history and culture held on the afternoon of Saturday 21 and the morning of Sunday 22 March.
